JKBOSE Affiliation Extension: Deadline Approaching – Submit Your Application Now!

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released a notification regarding the submission of applications for the renewal/extension of affiliation. The notification has been issued after the adoption of the Uniform Academic Calendar in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir/ UT of Ladakh and approval of the authorities.

Schedule/Calendar for Submission of Applications The heads of all affiliated private high and higher secondary institutions of Jammu Division (Soft Zone and Hard Zone) and Leh District of U.T of Ladakh are required to submit their applications through online mode. The following schedule/calendar must be adhered to for the submission of applications:

  1. Start of Online Application Process – 1st March 2023
  2. Last Date for Submission of Application – 31st March 2023
  3. Scrutiny of Applications by the Board – 1st April 2023 to 30th April 2023
  4. Inspection of Institutions – 1st May 2023 to 31st May 2023
  5. Grant of Renewal/Extension of Affiliation – 1st June 2023 to 30th June 2023

Submission of Applications All applications for the renewal/extension of affiliation must be submitted through the online mode. The heads of affiliated private high and higher secondary institutions of Jammu Division (Soft Zone and Hard Zone) and Leh District of U.T of Ladakh must ensure that all required information is filled in accurately and completely. They must also ensure that all relevant documents are uploaded in the prescribed format.

Scrutiny of Applications After the submission of applications, the Board will scrutinize all the applications. The Board will check whether all required information has been provided and whether all documents have been uploaded in the prescribed format. The Board will also verify the information provided in the application with the records of the institution.

Inspection of Institutions Once the scrutiny of applications is completed, the Board will conduct inspections of the institutions. During the inspections, the Board will verify the information provided in the application and check whether the institution is fulfilling all the requirements for affiliation.

Grant of Renewal/Extension of Affiliation After the completion of inspections, the Board will grant the renewal/extension of affiliation to the institutions that fulfill all the requirements. The Board will inform the institutions of the decision through the online mode.

Conclusion The submission of applications for the renewal/extension of affiliation is mandatory for all affiliated private high and higher secondary institutions of Jammu Division (Soft Zone and Hard Zone) and Leh District of U.T of Ladakh.
